Pramac Racing is keen to announce the new eSports program for the 2020 championship.
Following the enthusiasm for the outstanding successes already achieved with Francesco Bagnaia, leader of the #StayAtHomeGP championship, Pramac Racing is becoming ever more involved in this world while expanding its family by hiring one of the best virtual riders worldwide: Davide Gallina – aka davidegallina23 – virtual rider and already main player in the 2018 Valencia final. In addition to being able to watch his races on screen, fans can get to know Davide better by following him on his YouTube, Twitch and Instagram channels.
Pramac Racing has risen to the challenge and has been relying on the experience of the innovative startup Pro2Be eSports – the first eSports agency in Italy -, to enter this new adventure in the most professional and competitive way right from the get-go.
The MotoGP™ eSport Championship 2020 consists in one online Pro Draft and 4 on site Rounds called Global Series. The Pro Draft 2020 consisted in three Online Challenges which were disputed in the time attack mode.
The Global Series will be the third and final stage of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship 2020, and the Global Series will include four Rounds of competition in which the riders will compete in an 8-Race League Championship held across 4 events.
After the great success of the 2019 eSport Championship – 18 million video views, 104 million impressions, 3 million engagement and 15 broadcasters – the expectations of Pramac Team Racing eSport are high.
Another Esport Project launched by Dorna are the virtual races.
Virtual races are without doubt the undisputed masters of the moment, the spotlight is shining on Teams, Riders and Sponsors.
The #StayAtHomeGP has achieved: 135 million impressions, 27 million views and more than 5 million interactions were made with content related to the Virtual Races.
Sunday, May 3 will be The Red Bull Virtual Grand Prix of Spain, where Pecco and Pramac Racing will fight to keep the leadership in the Virtual Championship.
