Portuguese GP – Jack will start from the first row after an amazing qualifying, Pecco will start from the fifth row

The last qualifying of the season ended in an extremely positive way for Miller who tomorrow will start from the first row on the starting grid, Pecco will start from the fifth row.
Day that startED immediately well for Jack Miller who thanks to an extraordinary performance in the FP3 closed with the first time and wins direct access in Q2.
In the FP4 he tried a long run to have a clear idea about the set up and the choice of tyres.
The Australian rider in Q2 is immediately incisive, closed a good first run with the second half, in the second run he managed to lower the time again and with the time of 1:39.038 he wins the third position only one tenth from the leader.
Difficult day for Pecco who today struggled to find the right feeling with the bike after the positive feelings of yesterday.
In the FP3 the Italian rider is not able to be as aggressive as he would like, the time made forced him to  do the Q1.
He used the FP4s working on the set up and the race pace trying a long run too.
Unfortunately the Q1s don’t go as hoped, Bagnaia can’t find the right key and tomorrow he will start from the fifteenth square on the grid.

Pecco Bagnaia

Today I struggled a lot, starting from this far back is always very complicated.
I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to express myself as I would have liked but with the team we are trying to understand how we can improve to have a good race tomorrow.

Jack Miller

It has been a positive day, I have given my best as always and tomorrow I will start from the front row which is always an advantage.
We started fast since the FP3, we worked very well all weekend and I am satisfied.
Tomorrow I would like to be able to give Pramac Racing the last good memory….
