Johann Zarco took the second step of the podium at the Losail Circuit, scene this weekend of the first Grand Prix of the 2021 season. In an extremely challenging GP, the Pramac Racing Team rider was able to manage his race strategy at best.
Starting from the second row, Johann Zarco moved up to fourth position after the start, turning from the beginning with a steady pace. He overtook his teammate Martin and shortly after Jack Miller and moved into second position, where he would remain until the end of the race.
A masterful race for the French rider who didn’t make mistakes, takes full advantage of the engine power and remains constant from start to finish.
Jorge Martín impressed since the beginning with an incredible start gaining 11 positions placing himself in P3 after the first corner.
The Spanish rookie at the halfway point of the race is still fighting against the most experienced MotoGP riders.
He finishes in fourteenth position giving once again proof of his great talent

An incredible start, I was almost incredulous,
but aware that those are still not my positions.
I had a good race, I’m really happy, I know I can improve a lot and I feel great with this bike.
