After today’s qualifying session, Alessandro and Yonny will start from fifth and ninth position, respectively. The E-pole was carried out on completely soaking wet asphalt at Le Mans. Alessandro was not able to best express himself, but a time of 2:02.197 was worth a second row start on the grid tomorrow. Yonny, who had put out the second-best time in FP3 this morning, unfortunately crashed out this afternoon. This compromised his qualifying session and consequently, he will start from the third row tomorrow.

Yonny Hernandez
committed an error which compromised my E-pole session. It’s a shame because I was riding well, and I had gained confidence with the bike. Tomorrow I will start from the third row and I will give my all.

Alessandro Zaccone
A strange qualifying session. The track was very wet and so it was important to avoid crashing. Regardless of this, we will start from the second row – which is important. We hope that the weather conditions will be good, and so I remain positive about this..
