Pramac Racing is proud to announce a new partnership with leading global media and technology brand Yahoo. As the Main Sponsor of the Pramac Racing Team for the MotoGP championship, Yahoo will be the first Title Sponsor for the Pramac Racing E-sport championship starting from the 2021 season.
Yahoo connects millions of people to their passions around the world through innovative content and connectivity, with premium content across: Yahoo News, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance and more as well as communications tools to help people stay organized like Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Search.
The deal was brokered by the international strategic partnerships team at Verizon Media with the Italian team at Havas Sports & Entertainment, specialists in sports marketing and part of the Havas Media Group, creating an exciting, global partnership.
The Yahoo logo will be present on the fairings of the Ducati bikes ridden by Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin as well as on the suits of the riders and in the box, starting at the historical circuit of Le Mans.
Paolo Campinoti – Pramac Racing Team Principal:
“We are very proud to announce that Yahoo will be the Main Sponsor of Pramac Racing and Title Sponsor of the E-sport Team. We believe that MotoGP’s technological approach perfectly matches with the Pramac and Yahoo vision. The connection between people and technology is the key not only for the synergy with the MotoGP Championship but also for a long-term business partnership. Nowadays, we live in a world fully projected on virtual reality and gaming, for this reason the E-Sport championship is an opportunity for both companies that always have an eye on the future. With this shared idea of innovation, fully expressed in the E-Sport partnership, Yahoo is the perfect ally in this adventure.
We want to thank the Italian team of Havas Sports & Entertainment for the great support they have shown, once again assisting us in this operation; which in this case will allow us to add an extremely important member to our “family”. This is a clear sign of just how much Pramac Racing has been growing year after year.
We welcome the Yahoo brand, with the hope and confidence that we will achieve great things together.”
Kristiana Carlet, VP International Sales at Verizon Media, said of the new partnership:
“MotoGP is one of the most exciting motorsports on the planet, with riders and teams at the tip of technological advancements. As Yahoo continues to lead the innovation of the next generation of content and experiences, this partnership with PRAMAC is an incredible opportunity for Yahoo to continue to connect consumers to their passions and reimagine the future together.”
Stefano Spadini, CEO Havas Media Group says:
“This global partnership of Pramac with an international brand like Yahoo scores another important result for our goal: to continue making a difference to brands, to business and to people. Once again with our Havas Sports & Entertainment team we have combined the values of two important realities: those of Pramac and Yahoo, which make innovation and the power of emotions decisive levers to engage their audiences. This becomes even more valuable when sponsorships consistently and convincingly reflect brands and sponsors. We continue to grow, and we do it together with our clients and partners. “
