German GP – POLE POSITION FOR JOHANN ZARCO, THE FASTEST AT THE SACHSENRING! A GREAT JOB BY JORGE MARTIN WHO WILL START ON THE THIRD ROW TOMORROW.

Johann Zarco takes the pole position after an incredible qualifying. The rookie Jorge Martin also did very well and marked the seventh-best time.
Both Pramac Racing riders earned direct access to Q2 during FP3 this morning.
It has been an unpredictable qualifying session filled with twists, including a harmless crash for Zarco during the penultimate lap. This didn’t compromise the result, however, and the French rider takes the POLE POSITION.
An excellent performance by the Spanish rider, who ends the Q2 in seventh position.

Jorge Martín

I am very happy, we have taken a huge step forward since yesterday.
Already from FP3, I was feeling much better than yesterday and I knew that I could push harder.
Tomorrow I will try to fight to remain in the leading group.

Johann Zarco

I am very happy, it is a nice sensation to be in the Pole position at the Sachsenring.
This is a difficult track for Ducati and me, but the bike’s potential is so high that we are obtaining good results.
Tomorrow we will need to be careful with the usage of the tires, but to start from Pole I hope is what will give me that extra help.
