The weekend comes to an end here at the Sachsenring Grand Prix, with Zarco and Martin finishing in eighth and twelfth position respectively.
It has been a positive weekend for Johann Zarco, who after having earned his place in pole position, ends the day with a good performance and in eighth place.
The French rider, who has excellently started the year, maintains a solid second place in the classification with a total of 109 points.
Next weekend he will show up at the Grand Prix of Assen more motivated than ever.
A good performance by Jorge Martin who continues positively with his recovery.
The Spanish rider held his place in the top ten for most of the race, succeeding in maintaining a good race pace. Toward the last part of the race, however, a lack of fitness meant Jorge was not able to further maintain this pace and was forced to give up two positions.

Jorge Martín
I am satisfied, I had a good race and I was able to remain in the top ten for almost all of the 30 laps.
Naturally, still not being completely fit meant that towards the end I struggled a lot.
I now can see the improvements being made day after day, and I feel confident for Assen.

Johann Zarco
It was a very difficult race and I gave it my all, but the eighth place will do, we took home important points. I didn’t push more than I did because I wasn’t feeling secure; I preferred to not risk and not make any mistakes.
