The Spanish rider gains direct access to Q2 thanks to a time of 1:29.324 clocked in FP3.
During Q2 a small mistake made in the third sector did not allow Jorge to make the time for the front row, he will start from fourth position with a time of 1:28.958.
Johann Zarco, who had also closed the third free practice session in first place, fails to perform to the best of his ability during Q2, and with a time of 1:29.046 has to settle for sixth.

Jorge Martín
I have the right pace and feeling, I feel in good shape and the track is one of my favourites.
I made a small mistake in the third sector, we could have made the front row without that little mistake.

Johann Zarco
It’s a shame because I always went very fast until this morning.
The feeling was not at its best this afternoon, but I don’t make a drama out of it.
Second row is good, it will be important to get a good start and stay with the front group from the beginning in order to fight for the podium.
